Updated Summer 2025 Swim Lessons

Summer 2025 Swim Lesson Description and Session Dates:   

Swim lessons will be available again this summer at the following locations: Woodspring Forest, and Sherwood Trails swimming pools!  Swim Lessons will be 2 week sessions (Tues-Fri) for 30 minutes. There are 8 lessons in each session. The session fee is $110. All lessons will be a group lesson with no more than 6 participants of similar age and ability. Upon completion of the session, guardians will receive a progress report with a recommendation to either advance the participant to the next level or stay in the current level.     

Session Dates:

Session 1: June 3-June 13

Session 2: June 17- June 27

Session 3: July 8-July 18

Session 4: July 22-August

Level Name and brief description for proper placement.    

LEVEL 0 –Students will become comfortable with the water and gain confidence with swimming. Student should be 2 years old before entering L0.    

LEVEL 1 – Start to learn freestyle and backstroke movements. Students must be able to Stream-line on front and back independently before entering L1.          

LEVEL 2 – Focus on primary skills. Students must be swimming freestyle and backstroke before entering L2.  Common ages 3-7

LEVEL 3 – Builds on stroke coordination.  Students must be swimming freestyle, backstroke for 20ft or longer before entering L3. Common ages 4-8 (no limits on participants)
